External hard drives are definitely getting cheaper as technology progresses to solid state disks at much higher costs. The advantage? You get 2TB of storage space for a lot less now compared to yesteryear. Lacie hard drives are usually quite a popular choice and design is probably one of the main reasons why. How does this rather simple but aesthetically pleasing hard drive perform? Check out the review. tech-lobby.com

@Guild2007 Samsung took down the 2.2 firmware for the servers (it was apparently buggy..). Another version should be available in the woming weeks.
January 26th, 2012 at 10:46 am

January 26th, 2012 at 11:23 am
@Cybercreeps Nope didn’t install anything fixes yet but I think that the Flash performance issues is 100% flash related anyway.
January 26th, 2012 at 11:34 am
@illyespresso Mine didn’t have it with the previous carrier branded 2.1 rom I was running. I guess that carrier decide to put it in or not.
January 26th, 2012 at 11:39 am

@agrafa13 Thanks for the advice. But I cannot format my sd card and my hard drives are also full. Can I just take the sd card out and upgrade?? I still have around 4 gb left on built in memory.
January 26th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
@MobileTechWorldTV i got loads of space on my hard drive and it should be the latest ill try updatin and see wot happens :/
January 26th, 2012 at 3:45 pm
@kmikhaylov Wierd.. do you have the latest version of Kies? Also make sure that you have over 1Gb of free space on your main Hard-Drive or it won’t downnload the binary.
January 26th, 2012 at 4:34 pm
i got past that error but now it doesnt download the binary files it just says its stopped working properly and has to close and ideas?
January 26th, 2012 at 4:37 pm
@MobileTechWorldTV I made sure of that still comes up with error :/
January 26th, 2012 at 5:14 pm
@kmikhaylov Ddi you make sure not to un-plug your device or close the Kies software during the whole process? the Reg editing has to be done while the Kies app is still running.

@Barry3443 Judging by the majority of ugly and over-complicate looking devices on the market — apparently a lot.
January 26th, 2012 at 7:34 pm
@davidrulez07 it is plug-and-play, that means that it will work on (almost) any computer (windows, mac, linux etc.)
January 26th, 2012 at 8:01 pm
does it work with windows 7 and does it automatically shut off when you shut down your computer?
January 26th, 2012 at 8:43 pm

January 26th, 2012 at 10:31 pm
I’m thinking of getting one to use along with my Media Player to see films, etc.
My question is if it will overheat (seeing as it has no fan) after using it for several hours. Anyone know how much it can handle?
January 26th, 2012 at 11:12 pm
@chromebadge He did, altough it’s very difficult to hear :F
January 26th, 2012 at 11:42 pm
